A doorway into nature

Inside a small pot about 5 cm in diameter, a Sekibokka mini bonsai lives and breathes. In this tiny tree that fits in the palm of your hand, you can feel the power and beauty of nature, the breath of the earth and the wind, and the radiance of life.
The miniature worlds of these bonsai encapsulate a distinctively Japanese sense of beauty and nature. If you share our appreciation for this aesthetic, a small doorway into the vast world of nature will always be open to you.

Every mini bonsai is unique

Every Sekibokka mini bonsai is unique. The pots are individually handmade, so no two are the same. This is also true of the trees, the moss, the shape of the branches and the color of the leaves. Just as there is only one of each of us, the Sekibokka mini bonsai you hold in your hand is unique and irreplaceable.

A labor of love

At Sekibokka, everything is done by hand. Members of our staff grow the moss, cultivate and care for the miniature trees, and make the pots. Every Sekibokka mini bonsai is the fusion of nuance, expression, inspiration and sensibility – and every small pot is infused with our hope that it will find a home with someone who will treasure and nurture it for years to come.
